Open Concept Kitchen / Living Space

This family wanted to breathe new life into a dated kitchen and have a bright, modern space for entertaining. We went in and completely gutted the room and opened up walls to add much needed light and space. The kitchen now opens to the living room, which features new crown molding and a custom-built windowseat overlooking the back deck, which was built by us in a previous job. Recessed lighting was installed throughout, and white cabinets accented by natural stone quartzite countertops brighten the once dark space. The 16-foot island contains plenty of storage and gives this family a great space for entertaining guests. A previously completed project includes the family’s large 3-season sunroom, which we built as an addition to the home prior to the kitchen renovations.
